The Octopus Room
The Octopus Room is our coziest room, overlooking our beautiful gardens, across the lawn, and Orchard Street. Your private patio is tucked away on the side of the guesthouse.
The Octopus Room connects to the Whale Room with doors controlled by each room occupant; perfect if you’re traveling with friends or extended family.
The Octopus Room is outfitted with:
Queen-sized bed
Mini-fridge
Private, en suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo
Single-serve coffee maker
Independently controlled heat, air-conditioning, and ceiling fan
Beach towels

Rates include a plated breakfast each morning, complimentary wi-fi, and on-street parking.

Weekend: $300 per night
Midweek: $270 per night
May 1 — September 30
Weekend: $385 per night
Midweek: $355 per night

The CT room occupancy tax rate is 11%; our rates do not include taxes and are subject to change without notice.

“Great inn in the Borough!! This is a great place to stay and enjoy everything Stonington Borough has to offer. The guest rooms are very comfortable offering queen sized beds with lots of pillows & I loved that you can control the temperature or open the windows if you want some fresh air. Wendy and Jim are exceptional hosts. They served Turkish eggs with sausage and toast for breakfast. I’d never had this before and loved it! Having my own french press filled with fragrant, freshly made coffee really added to the start of my day. Breakfast is served in the sunroom, bright and sunny and filled with live plants. Wendy told me about walking thru the town where I found very cute shops as well as restaurants I’ll want to try on my next visit.”
